Mid-Level .NET Lead Web Developer


Description

Infobase Learning has an immediate opening for a Mid-Level .NET Lead Web Developer.

Primary responsibilities include the development and ongoing maintenance for web-based applications developed in .NET with a SQL back-end. Applications include online educational database products, streaming video platforms, eBook platforms, e-commerce websites, and customer administrative applications. The developer will work on a variety of different projects and should be able to provide new ideas that work within our current systems.

The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, forward thinking, innovative, and results oriented, with a high attention to detail. The developer must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to communicate well with non-technical people inside and outside of Infobase Learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar degree, and two to five years of related experience.

- Demonstrated experience with ASP.NET (VB.NET and C#), SQL Server 2000/2008 (stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages), HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Visual Basic.

- Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle

- Demonstrated ability to learn new products and technologies

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills

In addition, familiarity with streaming video technologies, SAAS video platforms (Kaltura), eBook formats, and/or mobile technologies is a strong plus.

Infobase Learning has an immediate opening for a Entry-Level .NET Web Developer.

Responsibilities include web development and maintenance for our online educational database products, content management system, streaming video platforms, eBook platform, e-commerce websites, and other web-based applications.

The developer will work on a variety of different projects and should be able to provide new ideas that work within our current systems. Inside Sales Representative/Regional Sales


Description

The Inside Sales Representative/Regional Sales Manager supports company objectives by increasing revenue from an existing client base while acquiring new customers within an assigned territory and identifies prospective accounts and builds, develops, and maintains relationships with decision makers to strengthen Infobase’s market position and close sales. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

· Accomplish sales goals through direct daily communication with decision-makers, including librarians, media directors, distance learning coordinators, faculty, and technical staff who influence or procure company products and services.

·Prospect, grow, and manage an account list while meeting revenue goals.

·Follow-up on leads via e-mail and telephone

· Devise and execute strategy for evaluating and maximizing opportunities in an assigned territory.

· Develop and maintain product knowledge for all company brands and services.

·Ability to conduct product demonstrations over the phone and through webinars.

·Keep management informed of sales activity and opportunities.

· Update all account information in a CRM.

· Communicate and work effectively with other staff members

· Attend conferences and visit accounts.

 

Requirements

  • A 4-year college degree and experience in educational sales
  • Strong telephone, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in common business software tools, including Microsoft Office and contact management tools.

 

While this is primarily an inside sales position, some travel is required to visit accounts and attend conferences.
